Hi, I have successfully installed the YES server on my computer, however I was not given an option to enter a password on install. What is the default root password?
Also I noticed in the redhat install.cfg the password is encrypted:
rootpw --isencrypted <password>
i have the same problem. i can not login.please help. thanks

you change the default root password when you run the intro application. that is where you finish the configuration of YES Linux. For instructions on installation please look at this document:

default root password is what every you created during the introduction as it the default user name. those tow share the same password.
