Version 3 of YES Linux introduces a new number system.

Version 3 of YES Linux introduces a new number system. The system is as follows:

[YES Linux version {major.minor}].[Edition version]

for example for YES Linux Build Edition 3.0.1 means YES Linux 3.0 Build Edition 1.

Also YES Linux versions that have a minor number that is even are considered testing/unstable. Likewise YES Linux versions that have a minor number that is odd are considered stable. For example 3.0, 3.2, 3.4, etc. are testing/unstable and 3.1, 3.3, 3.5, etc. are stable.

To view what version or YES Linux you are running check the file /etc/yeslinux_version to check the edition check the file /etc/yeslinux_edition
